Precision Machine Tools

Many industries, like the automotive and aerospace industries, require precision machine tools capable of performing cuts as small as a micron. These machines are often quite expensive. These super precise cutting machines are necessary for anything requiring extremely tight tolerances.

These precision machine tools are usually computer operated. This is to ensure absolute perfection in the cutting action and to eliminate any possible defects. These machines must be maintained to the highest standard in order to keep them running at optimal performance.

Many of these precision machine tools have multiple axis capabilities. This means that they are able to cut from many different angles, making them extremely versatile. Extremely high end machines often include a means of controlling the temperature around the cutter and bearings, often by using a water or oil bath.
